Peter & Hilde, originally from Belgium, moved to Shoalwater (Western Australia) in 2007, after several years of backpacking through the country. Peter is an event manager and Hilde a professor at the University of Western Australia UWA.
We purchased an old beach shack and have been renovating for many years, turning it into a cosy, rustic and welcoming home.
We love hiking, bush camping, ocean swimming, reading, traveling, cooking,...

We have 2 fluffy rag-doll cats that are extremely lazy, spending day and night sleeping on our sofa. They are very friendly and love to hang out with new people.
