I'm now one of the lucky people having to find a place to live in the near future ✌️ as the landlord has decided to finally begin renovations. (I've been living here for the last 6+ years)
Had some amazing housemates and I won't lie.. some dodgy ones.
I keep to myself unless needed, though gosh who wouldn't like a banter here and there. I love a reasonable and rational routine etc around house chores.
I'm just seeking a nice place to live with good hearted people that don't take advantage, are on the level, no mess around. Somewhere I can feel safe, go to work or study etc.
Oh and if you have a furbaby housemate that's fine.. (I wouldn't mind having to clean litter trays/taking them for walks hahaha...)

Important personal qualities
Clean up after themselves, are clear about bills as well as usage.
Doesn't eat my food or drink my alcohol without permission... (Can't believe that has to be said).

Food sharing and furniture
If you are vegan or vegetarian I'll be sure to be considerate of that.
Generally when I am cooking I would put aside a plate for my housemates if accepted, I also clean up after cooking. I prefer to use my own plates and utensils* saves on wash up disagreements
But just don't expect it all the time.
Food allergies are pretty important haha
Don't buy heaps of food and take up fridge and freezer space just to let it go off..
Usually would go thirds/halves for tp, dish soap, handwash, toilet cleaner, or just take turns buying it.
Take turns mowing, combined yard maintenance like weeding.
Can share pots and pans etc and appliances but like... If all of them are filthy for days on end... Well like c'mon 🤷
I don't mind having shared furniture etc, just don't trash it.
