I'm a 35 yo (happily) single guy who has been my mother's carer for 18 years. She and her new husband are selling the family home and moving into a retirement village, which means I need to find a new place to live from around the middle of August. As a carer I've learnt to be supportive, easy-going, I keep a clean home, pay the bills and enjoy trying new cooking recipes. I like taking care of myself, walking daily, spending time with my recently acquired extended step-family (6 kids hahaha) really enjoy the banter with my online friends and reading anything from Terry Pratchett to English/History and Manga. I'm in the process of finding a job but, in the meantime, can manage everything easily on my carer's pension as I am not frivolous with money. I don't smoke, rarely drink and have my own car.
