I am a primary school teacher relocating to Adelaide in 2025, ideally looking to find accommodation there in late 2024.
I have lived in the country for 27 years and I literally can’t wait to experience the city lifestyle soon. Both my adult children live in Adelaide and they are part of the reason why I am relocating, but to be honest I am especially looking forward to the cultural opportunities that a city offers. I love movies, museums, art galleries, eating out, live music, books, walking in nature… and more things.
At home I lead a quiet life. I am an organised person, I place importance on hygiene, am very neat and considerate of others around me (although I have lived by myself for the past three years). I love cooking and would happily share meals. I raised a family, so I’m used to living with others and compromising. I’m cheerful, friendly and even-tempered. I enjoy interacting with others, and equally enjoy the pleasure and calm of my own company.

Be a good communicator and ensure you are on the same page about noise and tidiness. Being considerate to others and understand the impact you have in the environment. Being generally tidy with a very good level of hygiene.
Food sharing and furniture
I don’t mind sharing food or not. I raised a family and am a good cook. I also have lived by myself for three years now, so happy to do either.
