Heya, I'm Thomas.

This year I was living out at Gawler but I wanted to be closer to family, friends, gp and medical appointments, so other plans fell through and I'm risking being homeless in my car through summer. 🥺

I was living in a rental for just over 7 years prior to gawler
I've rented with for the most part some amazing housemates through out my life (but as with share houses some people just don't get along, so it means alot to me to make sure everyone under the same roof is on the same page)
I had to leave the long rental as landlord began renovations.

I've been the one to handle all the bills for the last 7ish years so I know the pressure of being that head tenant dynamic..... The responsibility/pressure so I assure you I would pay on time and if not discuss it with you well in advance. (no bill dodgers plz) I've had those. to be honest it would be nice for someone to handle the strain..

A bit more about me as a person.. I'd say I'm an eccentric artist, a realist and also a dreamer with a dash of dark humour and hopeful kinda person. 🤷
Still not a gym person but I like adventures.

I love to smile, laugh and make others laugh and socialise, but I do have my days/moments where I just need my cave time.
not a fan of bullies or people that take advantage of people.
Love cooking and don't mind hanging while I cook.
Like creating stuff wether arty or crafty. I like to read, I collect trinkets and have stacks of art supplies and my own artworks.
I adore gardening,
I also love all types of movies and tv shows.
I always clean up after cooking unless certain occassions to be considerate of the next person.
my room can be messy with my clean washing pile not been put away.. but I keep my room clean.
house cleaning rule of thumb to me has always been... "best way to clean up a big mess, don't make a big mess". I do pick up after myself in common areas. ✌️
living with all kinds people I've had to adjust to peoples different methods/routines etc.

Happy for short term lease, but longer if the house environment suits and we get along.

Currently on a medical exemption, but my line of work is kitchen hand/hospitality/barista.. though I've been trying to change career fields these last 2 years.
But I am also looking to go back to study, once I find a place to live.

I do smoke tobacco but only outside appropriately.

Isn't a bill dodger.
Doesn't drink or eat my food without asking first.
Respects each others routines.
Openly communicate standards and differences.
Can be patient.
Can be social, hang out, go to the shops.. but also respect space and boundaries

I'm happy to be predominantly vegetarian or vegan if it is required for the house. I used to be.

I love cooking and usually make enough for a spare bowl.
I like to find out housemates food allergies also.. wouldn't want any accidents to happen that could be prevented.
I do prefer to have my own dishes and plates etc. Avoids drama sometimes. But happy to share.

I do have some stuff, but wanting to downsize.
In my current situation I'm basically capable of putting all my stuff in my car. But I still do have stuff stored at Gawler that I need to collect once settled.
