Hi there wonderful humans of Brisbane 🙂,
I am a single gal in her early 40s who’s just relocated from Melbourne for a postdoc at QUT. I'm looking for 1 bedroom and if possible, an extra room or area that can be used as a study. I'm open to a self-contained unit or a shared home with max one other housemate that is no more than a half hour's walking or cycling distance to QUT Gardens Point.
I am very kind, responsible, clean and tidy, and treat anywhere I live with consideration and care. I love nature, so a spot surrounded by trees or reasonably close to the river or green space would be amazing!
My budget is a maximum of 400, inclusive of bills, if possible.
Please reach out if my profile speaks and if you have a unit or granny flat for rent, or are looking to transfer your lease.
I'm currently staying in a lovely short-term rental that's a bit far away from the city and would really like to move closer to reduce my daily commuting time, and be in a good position to participate in activities in the city, make friends, etc.
If possible, I'd like to give at least two weeks notice at my current spot before moving but am happy to discuss this if needed. I have a current police check that I can provide in addition to references from former real estate agencies and landlords.
