Hello Potential Future Flatmates, Sigh.......I never really feel comfortable trying to describe myself to others, but I will do my best.
I am a 60 yr old gentleman, but I am not an old 60. I am easy going, I am a self contained person who enjoys living a harmonious life with those around me. I am not a drama person, life is far too short for that.
I relocated from Central Qld in 2023 to start a new job role, but also to be nearer to the medical specialists that I am going to have to endure a working relationship with for the forseeable future due to a couple of medical conditions I have. I am not contagious nor am I falling apart at the seams, I suffer from a chronic heart condition and kidneys that do not work, so I am being slated for heart valve surgery in 2024 and then for a kidney transplant in 2025🤞🤞🤞I am reasonably fit for my age and health conditions and I am quite able bodied and independent.
I enjoy alone time, but am quite outgoing and friendly and can connect with most people, except maybe for those people who choose to live with negative attitudes, I have found that life is too precious to weigh yourself down with the negative attitudes of others who are still trying " to work it out", so with no judgement in mind, I simply do my best to stay distant from negativity.
I find joy in singing and helping others. I have been heavily involved in community theatre for a time in C.Q, being part of a community choir, volunteering as an entertainer for aged care centres and various charity groups and in time, I will get back to doing more of that again once my medical conditions are stabilized and I can function relatively normally again.

I am embarking on another life journey by coming to Brisbane and I want to embrace it with both arms, and I would be over the moon to find a compatible, harmonious living arrangement.

Respectful, easy going, friendly, will communicate expectations of housemates in a nice way, clean living, sober habits.

I have to stick to a particular diet due to my kidney malfunction, but I am happy to pool with other housemates for the house cleaning requirements and food staples that stock up our pantry. I am not vegan, but I do cut meat out of my diet from time to time. I have no actual furniture of my own, but it can be arranged if necessary.
