Hello, I’m on a working holiday visa (subclass 417), I’m from the UK and I’m due to start work as a merchandise assistant at Bluey’s World located not too far from the Brisbane CBD, the attraction opens in early November. I previously worked as a crew member with Sydney Harbour Tall Ships and I lived in a cabin on one of the ships during that time. I have experience living in a shared house for 8 months during my 2nd year at University. I turn 25 later this month (for my age group description on this app I put 25-30 instead of 18-24 since lots of flatmate finders seem to prefer the former hahaha). The earliest I would be able to move into a flat or house is October 30th so I’d already be 25 by then hahaha. If you’re interested just send me a message!
Important personal qualities
I love taking walks or bike rides in nature particularly on weekends or after work to help me relax and get some fresh air. I enjoy swimming at the beach and also in lakes or swimming pools. I also enjoy watching films, either alone or with friends. My favourite genre of films are adventure, post-apocalypse and comedy. I enjoy being friends with flatmates and doing activities together, living with other crew members while I worked at Sydney Harbour Tall Ships was a very enjoyable experience and it’s been one of my highlights while being in Australia. I also love travelling. I visit the Philippines often with family as it’s where my parents are from and I was born there, I moved to the UK at one year old. I am family-oriented and close to my family and relatives. I loved travelling to Portugal, the US, Singapore, Austria and Italy in particular, as well as Australia and the Philippines of course. The countries at the top of my bucket list are Peru, Canada, Japan, Namibia and New Zealand.
