Hi there, I'm a 43yo father of three, with two kids that live in Melbourne and my 5mth old that lives on the Sunshine Coast. I am dabbling with FIFO/DIDO work through my own company but have secured a contract that sees the need to be located in Brisbane 2-3 days per week. My kids come up from Melbourne 4 times a year so we travel away and no accommodation is needed. Just need a no fuss, next to no impact pad in Brisbane to base myself for the work days spent in the office and not in the field. Weekends are spent in the Sunshine Coast. So 2-3 nights a week is all I will utilise but obviously expect a weekly rate payable. I am clean (read 'germaphobe') and expect a clean place. No tolerance for smokers, vapers or drug users. Not my caper thanks. I'm 43, pretty fit (can run Brissie half-marathon with no training) and love the river/cbd life. Have previously lived in Hamilton literally on the river for the last 5 years in my own 2BR apartment on KSD but took time off work to be a closer father to my newborn who is 5 months old now but work is drawing me back to the city and due to the commute I am looking for a low impact workable place to spend a few nights through the week. Alternative is to buy a 1BR but not a real fan of the idea.
