Hi, I’m Cloudia (she/her),queer, 38, professional working 2-3 days a week for a homewares and furniture company, while also transitioning into studies in disability and aged care. My hours are typically from 7 AM to 5:30 PM on office days Monday, Wednesday, Thursday. And I'm home studying the other days or popping out to see friends.
With my current commitments, I’m probably not as social as I would normally be, but I’m definitely up for a chat in the kitchen whenever we cross paths! I’ve lived all over the world in share houses during my 20s, so I’m experienced in communal living and respect shared spaces. I was also an Airbnb host in a past life, so I’ll treat your place as my own.
My side-kick Wally is an 8 year old mini dachshund and either goes to daycare or stays with a friend when I’m at work, as he doesn’t like being left alone. He is my little shadow and is happy snoozing in my room unless you are in need of dachshund cuddles.

Important personal qualities
I really value a peaceful and calm environment as I'm focused on my studies and work, so my life style is very low key these days. I tend to socialise outside of the house but I'm open to my housemate having the occasional guest / dinner party as long as there isn't a rave happening in the living room at 3 am it's all good 😅. I clean up after myself and don’t usually leave my stuff in communal spaces, but totally fine if you do. At the end of the day, I understand that we are all human and have our own way of doing things. I don’t take offense to feedback or if any issues come up—I’d rather just chat about it and figure things out. 🙂
Food sharing and furniture
I prefer to arrange my own food, I usually make enough for 3 days worth of food when I'm cooking dinner. I love all types of food, but if I'm cooking for myself it's pretty basic so won't be in the kitchen for long periods of time. Or I cheat and do youfoodz..
Description of pets
Wallace is an 8-year-old mini Dachshund and my little shadow. Despite his small size, he has a big personality! Now that he’s getting older, he’s happiest just curling up and sleeping in my room after a walk. He has a bit of separation anxiety, so he either goes to doggy daycare or comes with me whenever I leave the house. However, if you ever need an emotional support sausage on a stressful day, he’s your guy! Once he’s familiar with you, he loves a good pat and a snuggle.
