For us, a good flatmate is someone who’s respectful, clean, and communicates openly. I value a calm and friendly atmosphere at home where everyone feels comfortable. Being reliable with shared responsibilities, keeping common areas tidy, and being considerate of each other’s routines are really important to me. I appreciate people who are easygoing, honest, and mindful—qualities my girlfriend and I both bring to any shared living situation.
Food sharing and furniture
We usually prefer to arrange our own food but are always happy to share a meal occasionally—it’s a nice way to connect. We’re not vegetarian or vegan but enjoy cooking with lots of vegetables and healthy ingredients. As for furniture, we don’t have living room furniture with us, so a furnished place or shared setup would be ideal.
