Hiya!
I'm a friendly, easy-going 30 year old from Sydney. After working in child mental health research in London and Amsterdam for a few years, I relocated to Melbourne a few years ago to start my Clinical Psychology Doctorate at Monash University. I work in the area of trauma and sleep and am based in the Sleep Lab and Turner Clinics at Notting Hill.
I’m quite outgoing and bubbly, so am always down to have a laugh over a few bevs! I'd love a friendly flat/house share that feels more like a home than just a place to live :)
I am passionate about mental health, equal opportunities and the environment. Apart from cooking I also have interests in music, art and design (typical I know).
I’ve been told that I’m very considerate and clean, so you can trust that I will always clean up after myself and respect the space as if it were my own. I also value kind, constructive and open communication, so won't ever leave passive aggressive messages or notes :)
Accommodation:
Ideally, I'm looking for a clean, bright room with a window that allows in plenty of natural light and fresh air. It would also be great to have a bathroom that is only shared with a maximum of 2 other people.
Flatmates:
I love nothing more than to unwind after a long day with some vino and netflix, and would love a warm and social, yet relaxed household where flatmates can eat and have fun together, but also enjoy relaxing downtime apart.

Important personal qualities
I’m hoping to find some wonderful humans to share a homely home with! Hopefully ones that are social, kind, respectful (no room for any form of discrimination or toxic masculinity here pls :)), easy-going, and can relate to the saying ‘tidy house tidy mind’.
I’m also an incredibly heavy sleeper (a gift i know *prayer hands* haha) and have some hearing loss, so noise is not a big deal for me in case there are any funky musicians out there!

Food sharing and furniture
Happy to share food but also happy to keep things separate! I used to live in a flatshare that very much felt like a family so we often shared food and cooked dinners together/for each other :)
I have living room furniture (eg couch, lamp, etc), however, am flexible with selling my pieces if the right home for me doesn’t need these pieces.

Description of pets
I co-parent a beautifully natured 4-year-old Kelpie cross rescue named Layla :)
She would only be around 1-3 days at a time, with flexibility around times depending on what you’re comfortable with.
She is very sweet and timid in nature so can be shy at first, but once she learns that you won’t hurt her she will fall in love with you!
She is extremely well behaved and have been told by many people (including strangers on the street) that she is so well trained. She has brilliant recall and can be confidently walked off leash. She hardly barks and is very quiet apart from the occasional sooky squeak or whine when she wants a cuddle or play.
She has captured the hearts of so many and hope she will capture yours too :)
