Hello flatmates! I am Laetitia, originally from Paris.

I have been living in Australia (QLD, WA) for about a year and a half, and I recently decided to move to Melbourne on March 10th to stay in Victoria for the last year of my working-holiday visa. My partner, born and raised in Perth, relocated to Melbourne in June. We both work in the city as bartenders, although for separate businesses. This occupation takes time and energy: we love spending time together outside on our usual days off, and quietly relax back home otherwise :)

Currently working two hospo jobs in the Melbourne CBD, with my days off usually falling on Monday-Tuesday. I usually bike to work and back. I do come home late but try to keep quiet at night, as sleep is precious and I often have little time between shifts at the end of the week.
I don't mind not having much space to live in (Parisian style!) but I am exclusively looking for small & quiet/respectful flatshares. Please, no party animals or playing loud music early in the morning on the weekends, so that I can sleep at least a little bit! In return, I try being as discrete as possible when coming home, for my roommates who work 9-5 :) If work allows, I'll be up for drinks and chats, but I'm otherwise a pretty private person - I keep my room tidy (I don't have so many belongings and usually, they all fit in a single closet) and will occasionally chill out in the living if there is one. I don't cook often, but when I do, I will keep it minimal in the kitchen so that other people can enjoy it too :)
If your place has some storage space for a bike, that would be a big plus.

BUDGET: 250-300pw charges included; double if I move in with my partner.
PARKING SPACE: not necessary. If bike storage area, it's a plus!
FOOD PREFERENCES: flexitarian. Can adapt to veggie lifestyle, but not vegan - I like cheese too much.

I prefer making my own food, as I eat later than most Australians and often skip breakfast. I do not have any food restriction and yes, we could have lunch or dinner together once in a while! I cannot really adapt to "vegan-only" houses, as I do like cheese.
Furniture wise, a simple bed/desk/plug/lamp/closet combo would be enough. I might bring in a plant and a poster, but I'd rather keep it minimal.
