Hello! I’m looking to move back to Melbourne, and have short term accommodation sorted for the next 3 months, while I hunt for something long term. I work remotely (from home) as a Brand & Marketing Manager, so I’m looking for a room that is big enough for a desk and heating/cooling. Even better if there’s an ensuite. Happy to pay more for the luxuries! I’m ok with a furnished or unfurnished room for short term, but would prefer unfurnished for long term. I don’t cook much at all as I’m on a meal plan, so just need access to a shelf in the fridge and a microwave. I am a ambivert- love a chat and a hang when it’s welcome, but equally happy to have alone time. I’m mostly a very open, amiable, relaxed person, except when I’m time pressured/stressed and I get flappy. I’m non-judgemental and appreciate good communication and good humour. I’ll often be out at night and weekends for gigs, workshops and catching up with friends. I also travel interstate for work and other reasons, at least once a month, often more frequently. I am a ambivert- love a chat and a hang when it’s welcome, but equally happy to have alone time. I’ll often be out at night/weekends for hobbies, gigs or catching up with friends. II travel interstate for work and other reasons at least once week a month (sometimes more). I’m financially stable and house trained. I used to live in a house with 8 people so I know how important it is to do your fair share!
Food sharing and furniture
I arrange my own food (I don’t cook often) but don’t mind cooking together once in a while! Prefer my room unfurnished. Happy to provide or buy furniture or appliances for shared spaces if required but not planning on bringing anything other than bedroom furniture at this stage.
