hello, my name is Lindsay, a 67yo retired guy (was a payroll officer prior to retiring). I am originally from Bundaberg (Qld), lived in the Sydney/Central Coast area for many years before moving to the Melbourne area in May 2024, however I have had a run of bad luck with the house I was residing in at Watsonia, being partially damaged by fire - it looks like I will not be able to return. I am currently homeless living in emergency accommodation. I am now wishing to move back to the Newcastle area.

I am an honest, easy-going, reliable guy, willing to help whenever. I enjoy living with others, provided they are also tidy - I do prefer to keep things clean and tidy. I am very respectful, open-minded. a chilled type of guy, a social drinker. I am hoping to find somewhere of a similar nature. I'm not one to make lots of noise and respect others privacy.
Food sharing and furniture
I don't mind sharing food if need be, I am a good cook, especially Thai on occasions. I don't currently have any household furniture (as the place I was living in was partially burnt down recently, hence why I am looking for somewhere.
Description of pets
I have a 5yo rescue, Simba, a bull terrier, staffy, Siberian Husky cross. I got him in 2020 when covid hit. He is house trained, loves other people, and dogs, and loves his walks.
