Hello, I am a 28 year-old Singaporean moving to Melbourne in October on a Work and Holiday Visa.
I'm a sommelier by trade and will most likely be working in a restaurant/wine bar so should be out of house most of the afternoon and come back late at night. I'm very respectful, neat and clean person - biggest importance would be to have a clean kitchen as I like to cook meals for myself and friends/flatmates (will always offer a plate of pasta when I make some).
On my days off, you would probably find me riding my bike to the café/park to read, tan, or check out new restaurants/wine bars around town and would be great if you're down for that too but also understand if you want time alone. I also like to go to a farmers' market on the weekends and buy some produce to cook dinner for us, and relish doing chores around the house. Otherwise, wouldn't mind catching up over some wine or negroni - there shouldn't be a shortage of them while I'm there. (:
I do like to host - not big house parties - but more along the lines of intimate meals, BBQs, or just casual drinks, and will definitely give a heads up beforehand.
Huge on communication; have no problems being transparent about my emotions and would appreciate you are too.
