About this person
We’re a couple on a Working Holiday Visa. Tom works in healthcare, and I have a background in banking. During the week, we enjoy relaxing at home in the evenings, and on weekends, we like to explore nature and cafes during the day, and check out local restaurants and bars in the evenings. We're new to Australia, so we'd love a flatmate who can offer us some tips — especially where to find the best dim sum or the best pint of Guinness in town! We’re tidy, friendly, and easy-going, looking for a comfortable and respectful living space.
Important personal qualities
We’re looking for housemates who keep things generally tidy and are easy-going. We like hanging out sometimes and doing the occasional activity together, but we’re also cool with everyone doing their own thing. We enjoy a bit of socialising, but we’re not really into having a full-on party house — the odd pre-drinks or afters is fine though :)
Food sharing and furniture
We’ll probably cook our own meals most of the time, but we’re definitely up for the occasional group meal if we fancy a night in with a few wines or even a flat Sunday roast! I love cooking, so I’ll probably ask if you want to try what I’ve made every now and then. We both eat meat but enjoy veggie food too. We don’t have any living room furniture at the moment, but we’d like to get some over time.
