About this person
My name is Matt, I am 31 and from London originally. I have lived in share houses for most of my adult life and I’m looking to join a social house where I can become friends with the people I live with.
I am hoping to be in a respectful, tidy community where we hangout so I would be very down for socials, bevs, chats and fun activities.
I spend a lot of my time at galleries, gigs, theatres and festivals – I’m always looking for pals for these so my future housemates would be very welcome to come with me too. I also enjoy reading, wine, coffee, pubs, falafel, writing, sea shanties, jazz and cinema.
I’m a creative who is currently freelancing in comms/PR for the Barbican, an art centre in London. I also write for a couple of Melbourne/Sydney magazines as well as doing logistics for festivals such as Mode, Fringe and the Sydney Festival. I would mainly work from cafes, outdoor areas or my room.
As well as being social I understand how important it is for people to have their own time, so I would totally respect the privacy and space of my housemates.
I am very tidy and clean up after myself and I don’t own any large possessions that I would be bringing with me.
