Hi there! I'm Lockie. I'm a 39 year old guy that's just returning to Melbourne from a bit of an adventure in the country. I took 6 months off to live and work on an organic vineyard, which has been amazing but it's time to return!
I've accepted a role running a great little bike shop in Fitzroy - I'm a bit of a bike person and have been in the industry a few years now. Previously I was in hospo for many years and have also done a bit of work in the music biz.
I consider myself a friendly, easy going, and inclusive person. I'm not really a blokey-bloke.. Perhaps an ex-hippie turned normcore is about right? I'm very house trained having lived in share houses on and off for over 20 years, and do understand how to be a great housemate. I try to be at least a little sustainable, with varying degrees of success - brew a little beer, bake a bit of bread, keep the herb garden going, a bit obsessed with Aldi right now.. etc! I personally don't do much partying anymore, and if I do it'll be out and about having a few cocktails or a fancy dinner. Having said that, if you want the occasional big one at home I'm happy for you to go for it, and I am also happy for you to take the telly and couch all day for the inevitable hangover :)
I'm a bit on 'farm time' these days so our daily rhythm might be saying g'day over a sip, sharing a bit of dinner, and I'd pop off to bed and book read or watch a movie around 8ish. I'm not bothered if the house stays up late though.
I come with a beautiful lil' darling cat called Goji Berry. She's just turned 6 so is well past her naughty kitten stage, she loves to lounge about and watch window telly. She's fully indoors only (perhaps with the occasional supervised outside sit if I'm there), and of course is totally house trained.
I would love to chat on the phone to see if we gel before popping over to see the place. Thank you!!
