I'm Justin, 38, a teacher of 17 years who has just received a job at a school in Melbourne. I'll work daytimes and will begin when the 2025 school year starts. Until that time I'll be exploring and learning about Melbourne, my school, and getting the necessary arrangements made for life in Aus (registration, cell phone, car, orienting myself around, etc).
My partner, Yukari, is also moving with me as my visa will be a 482 Skilled-Worker Visa. She works from home online, teaching Japanese to adults across the globe. Yukari has lived in Melbourne several times through Working Holiday visa. She is in love with the city!
We are very clean, respectful, flexible, hard-working and cheerful by nature (I learned it from her, ^_^ )
We are looking for a good sharehouse that might have two rooms, or one and a study/work room that she can use to set up her "office".
While renting, we'll be searching for a more permanent house rental in the Point Cook area, as that is near my school.
We are excited to see what we can find and who might be willing to host us as we begin the next step of our lives together.
