About this person
My name is Clare, my husband Shane and I are hoping to find a base for a couple of months when we return to Melbourne.
We are keen gardeners, we have our own garden and Shane works as a Gardner/ groundskeeper. I am a Speech Pathologist. We are taking 12 months leave from our work (a sabbatical) to travel, volunteer and take on some contract based work. We have been travelling in Europe. We have been to France, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, England, Albania and Ireland.
We are both from Melbourne, Australia. We enjoy bike riding, hiking and swimming. We have been house and pet sitting during our time in Europe, we enjoy the company of dogs and cats and have had a number of pets ourselves. We don’t have any pets at the moment though.

Important personal qualities
We hope to find open, friendly, genuine people to live with. We are both clean and tidy and appreciate it when other people are too. We are quite private and enjoy having a peaceful and relaxing home. We may/ may not be up for socialising when we’re at home, we’re quite private, tend to cook and eat and just chill out when we’re at home.
Food sharing and furniture
We probably need prefer having our own food but it would make sense to share condiments etc. We eat meat but do like vegeterian and vegan food. Most of our furniture is in storage so we would only bring what we need.
