Hi, I’ve just moved to Melbourne on a working holiday visa and am currently couchsurfing. I was supposed to move into a room the end of November, but I was jus told it’s no longer available, so I’m starting my search again.
Previously, I spent a year on a working holiday in New Zealand and the past three months working in Queensland. I’ve visited Melbourne a few times and really like the southeast area, so I’m looking for a room that’s not far from the city.
What I’m looking for:
• Budget: Around $200-$250 per week
• Room size/private bathroom: No preference
• Simple cooking (no stir-fry or oily food)
