65 years. Professional engineer ( telecoms, sustainable energy, broadcasting overseas) and anglican priest ( trained in London). Coming to Melbourne on part-time role and transitioning back to Australia after many years in London ( 2025 into 2026 to see if my home country is for me after so long away). Work will be part time plus separate away contracts six weeks long in Jan 26 ( same work contract I’ve had for 25 years that takes me to different countries. Lifestyle is quiet, not a night owl, used to sharing living space, non-smoker, hauling books around with me and will likely do some p/t study during 2025 as well. Interests - old movie cameras (in storage for 2025), long term cycle commuter in London so will have to get used to driving a lot again. Open water swimmer. Did a masters degree in sustainable energy at RMIT last time I was living in Australia. Will travel to Sydney once a month or so during 2025 to see family.
Important personal qualities
Quiet, not a night owl, used to shared living spaces including tidying, cleaning and chores and giving other space. Have done shift work in the past so understand people who have to live with this.
Food sharing and furniture
Arrange my own food, not vegetarian but try and eat healthily even though last six years has been a challenge cooking for myself due to time. Most belongings will be in storage during during 2025, just clothes and books with me.
