I begin work in Melbourne in January (I am a civil engineer working in transport planning and road safety) and currently staying with friends / house sitting while I search for a place to live. I am quiet around the house, enjoy cooking and in addition to work I teach classes at the gym and have a hobby of DJing (techno music - don't worry I can practice in my headphones!). I would very much like to bring my (very sweet natured) ginger cat over from NZ once I have found a place - she is very important to me. I would also be open to a shorter term arrangement (~3 months) to tide things over until finding a more long term solution - for a short term arrangement I would hold off on bringing over my cat for the time being.

Description of pets
Female Ginger cat about 8 years old, very friendly with familiar people, sweet natured (does not fight even with other cats) and a little bit wary/anxious of new people and places. Likes company so I think she would do well in a house with another (gentle and accepting) cat or a small dog.
