Hey there! I am Raechelle, a 31-year-old woman from the US, looking for a place with my partner Bex, a 30-year-old non-binary person from the UK. We will be on a working holiday visa, arriving (flights booked!) in Melbourne, Australia on Feb. 9th. We are looking to stay until Christmas 2025, so 9-10 months.
Between the two of us, our hobbies and passions are: art, theater, singing, guitar, photography, design, travel, food, cooking, nature, pickleball, fruits and vegetables, coffee, tea, local cafes, cute dogs and babies, meaningful chats, and games of any description. We are a queer couple so we need a LGBTQIA+ friendly home, and preferably a non-smoker (besides an occasional 420 moment).
We both prefer living in a cozy place with a chilled vibe- we love some plants or animals around, though we don't have any. We don't party much anymore, but love meeting like-minded people and going to parks or to artsy/queer events. We enjoy sharing common spaces but also respect personal boundaries. We really value community, open communication and honesty- and we are "house trained" in cleaning up after ourselves and being generally considerate humans. :)
