Hi! I’m a 25 year old dude moving to Melbourne (1st day is on the 7th of Feb) from Copenhagen. I’ve lived in Denmark my entire life and I really wanted to try something new, and after very short deliberation ended up choosing Australia as my destination. I’ve worked as a bartender the past 3-4 years, and every Australian I’ve ever met has been nothing but kind and laid back, which aided my decision making! :)
I love fitness and music, but bartending has been my moneymaker for the time being. I can be really social and outgoing when outside the house, but I do love to keep my home as a nice, chill zone to recover from everyday hustle and bustle! I love meeting new people! I’d probably put myself in the category of laidback and carefree for the most part, but I seem to really hit it off with pretty much anyone!

Important personal qualities
I’m used to working 2-3 jobs at the same time so I sometimes need to just come home for sleep, but I’m hoping to maintain a relatively laidback lifestyle while in Melbourne and focus on hobbies and socialising, so a chill and friendly household with fun filled conversations suits me just fine.
I think kindness, and conscious effort into making sure that everyone around me is as comfortable as possible goes a long way. I hope to receive a similar treatment.

Food sharing and furniture
Though I don’t mind sharing at all, and would love to cook an occasional meal together if that seems like the vibe, nevertheless I do prefer to take care of my own shopping and prepare food mostly for myself.
My snacks, on the other hand, are public property, and I would actually feel more comfortable if people just took those without even thinking twice, just keep some for me too. 😄
I don’t have any furniture with me and I’m not planning on acquiring too much of it either.
