About this person
I’m Sindy, an international student from Thailand, studying a Master’s in Engineering Management at RMIT University starting March 2025. My recent work background is a business consultant and a program manager in energy, finance, and social development sector.

I’m easy going, but not a party person, no smoke, drink occasionally. I enjoy staying active through strolling, hiking, and cycling. I’ve traveled and participated in exchange programs in other countries, which has helped me develop an appreciation for different cultures and respect for others. I prefer keeping the common areas of the house peaceful and tidy, and I value a quiet and respectful living environment.

I plan to work part-time remotely during the week and possibly find a part-time job on weekends, but I will also be out on weekends, diving and deepening my knowledge of environmental conservation. I’m looking for a place where I can store my bicycle for commutes and my dive gear for my monthly social dives.

I would love to find a flat with flatmates who are friendly, respectful, and appreciate a quiet, shared living space.

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Best regards,
Sindy
Important personal qualities
I’m a clean, respectful, and reliable flatmate who values a peaceful and well-organized home. I always keep common areas tidy, clean up after myself, and respect shared spaces. I’m considerate of others' schedules, communicate openly, and believe in creating a friendly but low-drama living environment.

I enjoy cooking, especially Thai and Chinese food, and I’m happy to share a meal occasionally. I’m also up for movie nights, casual chitchats, or just hanging out on weekends if my flatmate is keen. I’m a good listener and enjoy meaningful conversations, but I also respect personal space and quiet time. Being organized and responsible, I pay rent on time and help maintain a comfortable home for everyone.
Food sharing and furniture
I prefer to arrange my own meals and do weekly meal prep, packing lunch boxes for school. I eat meat and enjoy cooking, especially Thai and Chinese food.

Furniture & Appliances
I won’t be bringing any large furniture, but I will have a fan, air fryer, Nespresso machine, and rice cooker for the kitchen.

Lifestyle & Space Needs

I have diving gear and will need a backyard or space to hang it dry.
I’ll have a bicycle for local commuting.
Soon, I plan to get either an acoustic guitar or ukulele—I enjoy playing and singing when I feel lonely, but I will be mindful of noise and my flatmates' schedules.
