Hi I am David, I am 56 years old and use a wheelchair, although I can walk short distances. I have a service dog (official with Guide Dogs Australia) Charlie. He is a Kelpie and very well behaved, he is with me at all times, inside and out and usually accompanies me where ever I go. I love fishing and camping, playing darts and trivia. I'm very easy going and friendly, willing to help out with anything I can.

Description of pets
Charlie is Guide Dogs Australia certified assistance dog and is allowed to go wherever David goes. (It is illegal for venues to ban Charlie entering with David.) Charlie is a giant Kelpie. He is 9 years old and helps David with his diabetes and anxiety. He is a very sensitive dog and senses peoples feelings. He will go and sit quietly when someone is anxious. He is protective of anyone with special needs. Loves children and babies and is extremely tolerant and protective with them. He recently met a 12 year old girl with diabetes and shadowed her closely and gently for the whole visit with her. He is also good with neuro diverse children. He is very obedient and friendly with any one David introduces him to.
