Hi,
I'm Valeria, I'm 28 y/o, I'm from Milan, Italy and I'll be moving to Melbourne at the end of April, since I will be working full time at Footscray Primary School as an Italian Assistant Teacher from May till December. I'm really thrilled to start this new experience and that's why I am looking for a place to stay. I have a master degree in foreign languages and I speak english, spanish and german and I have always been passionate about teaching languages. I already have experience living abroad, I lived and studied for 1 year in Germany, where I shared an apartment with 2 other Spanish girls. It was an experience that taught me a lot about myself. I am a very sunny and helpful person, I like meeting new people, I am also very neat and tidy. I am open to share a meal, go for a walk or watch a film together. But sometimes I need to recharge my social batteries with some alone time listening to music or reading a good crime book. I know that being Italian it may seem obvious, but I love to cook, especially traditional dishes but also vegetarian alternatives. I am a sporty person, currently I go swimming and practice kick boxing and would like to continue to do so once in Melbourne. I look forward to coming to Australia to grow professionally but also to discover more about the culture and what Melbourne has to offer.
