About this person
** Update: I have now teamed up with another (M/57) from this website, so we are now seeking another (3rd) person (45+), to join us, set up and house-share an apartment (3BR, 2BATH) together. If you're interested in joining us, please message. Meet n greets to occur over the coming week. ***

Hello! I’m a 52-year-old professional female seeking a clean and peaceful house-share with another professional (preferably 45+).

What I’m Looking For:
* A private bedroom (ideally with a study or space to WFH)
* Private bathroom or ensuite
* A tidy, respectful, neat, clean and drama-free living environment
* A home, not a party house
* Located in the Melbourne CBD, or inner suburbs (within 15 minutes) and close to public transport
* Preferably an all-inclusive price (rent and utilities), but open to negotiation - up to $300p/w
* An existing house-share, with preferably maximum of 2 others

About Me:
* 52yo single (no kids nor partner), mature, professional female
* Social and outgoing but value a clean, quiet home
* Non-smoker, no drugs
* No current pets, but a lifelong cat and dog owner and a foster carer—happy to cohabitate with furry friends
* Excellent rental history (through estate agents and privately)
* Own car and licence
* Love pickleball and play 2-3 times weekly
* Love board games, cruising, travelling, op-shopping, pub trivia, social activities, crocheting/sewing, streaming, reality TV (I know, shoot me now!)
* Passionate about animal welfare, foster and rescue
* Case Manager/Project Officer for an animal rescue organisation
* Pet/house-sitter with future jobs booked

I’ve rented most of my life (in both house-shares and independently) but have been living with a friend just outside Geelong for nearly two years. I’m now eager to move back to Melbourne to expand my employment opportunities. Since I’m currently in a furnished share house, I have minimal furniture (mostly bedroom furniture), as I sold my household items from storage when I moved in here.

I’m flexible with my move-in date and can relocate on short notice. If this sounds like a good fit, I’d love to hear from you!

Ideal locations: Melbourne (3000), East Melbourne (3002), West Melbourne (3003), South Wharf (3006), Southbank (3006), Docklands (3008), Ascot Vale (3032), North Melbourne (3051), Parkville (3052), Carlton (3053), Fitzroy (3065), Port Melbourne (3207), Melbourne (3004).

Seeking a Room(s) in an existing share house, Studio flats for rent or Homestay.
Important personal qualities
A good flatmate is someone who is respectful, communicative, and considerate of shared living spaces. For me, personal qualities like reliability, cleanliness, and honesty are particularly important. A good flatmate should be able to maintain a respectful and open line of communication, ensuring any issues are addressed promptly and calmly. It’s also important for them to be mindful of shared responsibilities, such as keeping common areas tidy and contributing to household chores. I value someone who is adaptable and willing to compromise when necessary, and who understands the importance of personal space while also being approachable and friendly. A positive attitude and a sense of mutual respect go a long way in creating a harmonious living environment.
Food sharing and furniture
I generally prefer to arrange my own food but am open to sharing occasionally, especially if we’re cooking together or having a communal meal. I believe in respecting personal preferences when it comes to food, so I’m comfortable either way.

Regarding dietary choices, I am not vegetarian or vegan (however my current housemate is), so I respect that and always aim to be considerate when preparing meals.

I currently don't have any living room furniture, but I’m happy to contribute if required. I believe in creating a comfortable and welcoming shared space, so I’m open to working together to arrange furniture or make the space more accommodating.
Description of pets
I don't have pets at the moment, but I live in a household with foster and resident cats, kittens, and a dog, so I’m a big fan of furry friends!
