I'm Dave, 34, originally from Canada but have lived in Melbourne since 2013 (Dual Canadian-Australian citizen).
I've recently returned from a 6 month working holiday in Canada and am looking for a place in Melbourne while I figure out what's next.
I'm currently working as a Rope Access Technician in the city. I got into this line of work 2 years ago when I started to tire of the office life. It's been fun but once I get settled, I'm planning to start a career in Government so I can start putting my two Political Science degrees to work.
I grew up in a small town and love the outdoors. I spend most of my spare time in the country target shooting or fly fishing. During my recent stint in Canada, I also ended up with refreshed interests in Ice Hockey and Lumberjack stuff. Despite my rural interests, I also really appreciate the diverse culture Melbourne has to offer.
I'm tidy, respectful of other peoples space, and maintain a clean record for my hobbies and career (so you can rest assured I won't be getting up to anything sketchy).
