Hey! I’m Rachel, 25, originally from Indonesia but I’ve been living in Australia for the past 6 years. I’m making the move from Sydney to Newcastle to be closer to my new regional job as an Environmental and Sustainability Advisor for a construction company.
My work has me on a 2-weeks-on, 1-week-off roster and I’ll be living onsite while I’m working - so I’ll be away most of the time. That said, I’m looking for a cozy and calm place to call my base for my off weeks. I really value having my own space to unwind and recharge.
When I’m home, I like to take things slow - relaxing, cooking, catching up on sleep. But I’m also excited to explore Newcastle more! I’m keen to get back into Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, join a run club, sign up for a gym, maybe even try surfing lessons. Always up for new hobbies and meeting new people.
