Hello everyone! My name is Miriam, I come from Florence, Italy and I’m traveling to Australia on a WH Visa with my partner. I’m 26 years old, I have a degree in gender studies and philosophy and I’m really into feminism, history and politics. I also really like sharks and all marine creatures, books and yoga. I love animals in general - totally open to living with pets, although I don’t have any! I’ve been vegetarian for ten years now, I love Chinese and Indian food a lot, and I can cook a decent Italian meal :)
I will work in the hospitality industry in Perth, as I’ve been doing for the past 6-7 years in Italy. I don’t smoke (I’ve quit more than two years ago - yay!) and I consider myself a clean, organized person (cleaning is my go-to whenever I feel anxious or stressed).
I’m looking for an accommodation in Perth starting from November. I’m currently considering:
- one single room in a share house
- two single rooms for me and my partner (27yo non-binary person) in a share house
- one-bedroom apartment for me and my partner

Important personal qualities
I'm a clean and respectful housemate, I'd love to live with people who are also mindful of shared spaces, chill, and peaceful. I love hanging out in the house and creating a nice, warm environment but I also rely on my solo time to recharge myself and I'd love to be on the same page about that :)
Food sharing and furniture
I've been a vegetarian for a long time, and although I love to share food and eat the occasional meal together (I'm Italian after all!), I totally don't mind if my flatmates eat meat/fish.
