My name is Alex, I love long walks on the beach and eating burritos 😆. I’m currently looking for a room to rent as the previous house I was renting unfortunately sold and I’m in need of a new home 🥲.
I am 30 years old and currently work full time at a car dealership licensing cars and doing finance admin. I try to get in some form of exercise before or after work when I can so between that, work and a little socialising I don’t spend a whole lot of time at home and when I am home I tend to be pretty quiet and relaxed (you will likely find me in my bed wearing my oodie eating a burrito and watching a movie).
That said I still love to socialise with those that I live with if they are around and maybe have the occasional dinner, brunch on weekends or movie night.

Important personal qualities
My friends will tell anyone I’m super friendly and easy to get along with. I was originally born in Canada, and even though I’ve lived in Perth since I was 1 my friends and colleagues still joke that the Canadian in me makes me too polite. Although it’s true I truely do have the patience of a saint and am very kind and respectful to others, I do have fair boundaries and will calmly hold firm by them when necessary.
I have lived in quite a few different share houses over the years and I am very familiar with how tricky different personalities and standards under one roof can be. I am used to living with others who have high cleanliness standards and am good at cleaning up after myself in shared spaces and happy to contribute to shared chores around the house. And when it comes to the occasional drama between housemates, I am a great communicator, I am great at conflict resolution and usually end up meditating between others 😅.

Food sharing and furniture
I don’t mind sharing food and happy to share anything a cook. That being said I have some what tricky dietary requirements so am usually pretty used to looking after myself 😊.
As for furniture I have some in a storage unit so if needed I can bring my own bedroom furniture and also have a fridge, a daybed/ pullout bed that makes a great couch and some kitchen ware and appliances. I’d not no worries It can stay in storage.
