Hi I’m Millie! I’m a 24 (nearly 25) year old girl from the UK. Me and my partner have just about finished our 6 month trip backpacking around South East Asia and are moving to Australia on a working holiday visa on the 9th October. We will be staying with a family friend for about a month whilst we search for both jobs and then a place to live. My partner will be working in FIFO so he will not be around all time (depending on his shift pattern). I will be working full-time. I’m really into reading, cooking and travel. My partner and I like going to gym and maintaining our fitness and living a healthy lifestyle. I like to be social but I also do really value my quiet time / time to myself.
Important personal qualities
I’m very easy going and easy to live with. The main things I value in a flatmate is just making sure the shared areas/spaces are clean and maintained. I love to cook but I always make sure any mess is cleaned up straight away after eating and I value a flatmate who does the same. Same with the bathroom etc.
Food sharing and furniture
I prefer to cook my own food and be control of my own meals as I like to meal prep and I follow a healthy lifestyle/diet. However, I am more than happy to cook for other people if they like what I’m eating etc. My partner eats meat so I have no problem cooking and handling meat. I myself am a pescatarian/vegetarian.
