I am looking for long term accommodation. I would ideally want to be paying $250pw or less, but am willing to pay a bit more depending on location/ensuite/larger room/etc.

I am working as a mentor/support worker for neurodivergent & trans young adults, while I work on completing my OT degree.
I have a car that I mostly use for work and try to catch public transport as much as I can, so somewhere near a train-line would be ideal 👌🏽

In my spare time I enjoy getting creative, mostly drawing or painting but am always exploring new mediums. I enjoy a good book or tv show, live music, gardening, exploring the forest, and am just getting back into the surf after a long (injury-forced) hiatus. I am also actively involved in several grassroots community-activism related groups fighting for social justice/human rights/etc. I'm environmentally conscious and would love to live with others who prioritise sustainable living if possible.

I have lived in several share houses over the years and appreciate clear communication and mutual respect for each others space/energy/boundaries. Cleanliness/tidiness is very important to me. I have recently been able to access NDIS funding for cleaners as well.

I value a balance of alone time and chatting to/connecting with housemates over coffee/tea, a game of cards, watching a show together, etc. but am not looking for a house that is often loud or crowded (don’t mind it on occasion and very much appreciate having some notice if you’re having visitors over). I don’t drink often and don’t smoke tobacco. I have a prescription for medical thc to reduce migraines, but never vape/smoke inside, and am willing to leave the property to do so if I absolutely must.

I also have an incredibly sweet and low maintenance dog. Harrison is 7, super chilled, very soothing to have around and unofficially my therapy dog (also doubles as a fantastic weighted blanket). He has lived with dogs and cats, but would not be suitable for a house with young children around often, or one that has multiple high-energy pets. He usually sleeps in my room but is happy to be outside most of the time if he has to be (in reasonable weather obvs). Most people fall head over heels in love with him almost instantly, his eyes will suck you in if you’re not careful.
