Hello, my name is Demetra and I am 20 years old.
I will be doing a working holiday in Australia near the Gold Coast for about 6 months. I am originally from Canada and more specifically Quebec. I am fluent in English, French and Greek but I also studied languages and picked up a bit of German. I enjoy cooking, working out and socializing but I also love spending time at home curled up with a good book.
I am looking for a place to stay while I work in Australia, I will most likely be working full time but I hope to be able to explore the country on my spare time and meet new people while I am here! I would be arriving in Australia in December of 2024 and will have my full stay of rent already saved up.

I am looking for someplace to stay during my working Holiday in Australia, it is a 6 month stay. I am very sociable and kind, I keep my space tidy and am no stranger to house chores such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc. I adapt very well to my environment and am sure to be a helping and friendly flatmate!
I have many hobbies, I love going to the gym, helping in my community, doing traditional Chinese lion dance, doing art and reading. I have graduated from college and am taking this working holiday during my gap year before beginning university back in Canada :)

Food sharing and furniture
I am very adaptable when it comes to food and food sharing. I would be comfortable buying my own groceries and cooking for myself but am also okay splitting groceries and sharing meals for the most part if that is more convenient. I would also be okay with a mix of both, sharing some meals or pantry staples etc. I do not have any allergies and don't typically have any dietary restrictions.
As I am a not from Australia, I will not have any living room furniture with me, but I will have all of my necessities for bathroom and bedroom spaces (towels, bed linen).
