Hi there! I’m Jake, I’m 23 and originally from Manchester, England. Myself and my best friend, Tom, have been living in Australia since April - first in Brisbane and since June in Byron Bay.
Just to give a bit of background to us, we both travelled to Byron Bay way back in May and fell in love with the place, knowing instantly that we wanted to call iy home. Since then, I have secured a job in sales which I have held since my arrival in Byron Bay, and Tom works in Ballina as part of an accountancy firm.
We are both seeking two private rooms in the same accomodation as we currently share one room close to the general store. We also own our own van that Tom uses daily for travel to work and back.
We are both fit individuals, often you’ll find us out on a run or in the gym, we are clean and courteous, love to socialise but also like having our own space to decompress, and are all around very friendly and easy to get along with!

For us, a good housemate is someone who keeps communal areas clean, is easy to get along with and be around, can socialise with but also enjoys their own space, and is overall just a nice person.
Food sharing and furniture
We prefer to cook for ourselves, however we do enjoy the occasional house meal to catchup every now and again. We don’t have any furniture to move.
