I'm perfectly happy to let others keep to their own personal space and you don't need to keep up an upbeat appearance on stressful days. I've seen a lot of burnout in my industry and have no expectation that anyone must be forced to be sociable and entertain others 24/7, so you're more than welcome to vanish into your privacy when need be.
