About this person
I am a 34 year-old postgraduate student, part-time Uber driver and part-time writer.
I am clean, tidy, respectful and organised. I am mindful of other people’s space while also enjoying a chat over a tea or meal. I am currently doing Uber driving in the mornings while studying a Masters of Law at Sydney University, focused on Environmental Law, having previously practiced as a corporate lawyer (but now looking to switch over to the good side). I am also editing a novel manuscript I spent the past two years writing while on a career break.
Between the driving, editing, studying, taking my dog to the dog park and going to the gym, I do not have time for all that much else... but I do enjoy catching up with friends over brunch or coffee, going to see movies and shows, hiking and board game nights.
I am house-proud and view my home as a sanctuary, and it is important to me that my housemate(s) share those values. While I am totally fine with having friends over for dinners and drinks, I am not looking to join a party house.
I have cohabited with a range of flatmates since I first moved out of home at age 19 in Sydney as well as in Hamburg, London and New York. I will be moving in with my well-behaved and house-trained six year-old Japanese Spitz Jude. He gets along famously with all people and other dogs, and one house we lived in also had a cat.
I have been staying with family since I moved back from New York but now would love to have my own space again if I find a home and flatmate that is the right fit.

Important personal qualities
Someone who is clean, tidy and considerate, friendly and sociable but respectful of other people’s boundaries
Food sharing and furniture
I am vegan and buy and cook my own food (but am open to living with non-vegans).
I have only bedroom furniture so a furnished flat with an unfurnished room would be ideal.

Description of pets
Jude is a beautiful, affectionate and well-behaved medium-sized dog. He is beloved by all who meet him. Not a big barker. Does love cuddles. I take him out three times a day, including one trip to the dog park. The breed is Japanese Spitz, which was bred to have no odour and hair that is non-stick like teflon (trust the Japanese to engineer the cutest and most high-tech dog breed!) so he is easy to keep clean and although he does shed, the hair does not stick to carpet or furniture and is easy to vacuum up, which I do frequently with my handy Dyson. I also brush him every day to minimise his shedding.
