Hi! My name is Yvonne, I’m a 27 year old woman from the UK on my second year of a working holiday visa in Australia. I arrived in Perth on the 30th September & have hit the ground running in terms of seeking employment and looking for a room to rent, any date from the 7th October and hoping to stay until the beginning of March 2025 to have a stint of 5 months working and saving money for future travels as I have previously done in the past in Australia. However I am open to other options that are less than 5 months or initially a trial period of a few months to see if it’s a good fit for all parties. Back home in the UK I worked as a secondary school teacher of Spanish and prior to this, an early years childcare educator, retail worker and supervisor. During the past year of my travels I have worked predominantly in hospitality roles as well as picked up occasional work as a dog walker/pet sitter.

I am a very independent, clean and respectful individual. I value my own company and time to myself for the majority of the week but equally I’m always up for social plans or hanging out with people I get along with. I love running, long walks, beach days, movie binges (anything true crime or horror is a guilty pleasure!), animals, journaling, reading, & anything outdoorsy or adventurous I’m in!

I would say I’m a good mix of a person who loves structure & routine, as well as occasional spontaneity & socialness (until the social battery needs recharging). I like order & tidiness but I’m not obsessive or fanatical. I don’t smoke, if I drink it’s maximum once a week ; I very much follow a routine of 80% health focus & activeness, 20% hair down food & drink wise to relax & unwind & im hoping to find the right fit to stay in Perth for 5 months while I focus on working & saving. I have a beautiful ragdoll cat who is being taken care of by my family back in the UK, I love animals!
