Hey future housefriends!
I'm Jake, a dog trainer starting work in Sydney again after 4 months travelling in a caravan. Married but living separately, and poly, so would ideally like to have partners around a couple of days a week.
I also have a dog who I'd ideally have most of the time, or less ideally some of the time! He's short haired (nearly bald), well behaved, and is currently learning to bring you a beer from the fridge :-P
Work hours are usually 9-3, 4 days a week but can vary wildly, some days are 7am-9pm, others I'll just be out for an hour or two.
I'm AuDysDHD, queer, left-leaning, and geek out about a wide range of subjects, from fantasy novels to insects to kitchen table philosophy - generally I think that everything is interesting when framed right.

Important personal qualities
I'm clean and considerate of shared spaces, having lived in sharehouses up until 2019. Almost always up for a chat, and tend to prefer being somewhat social in a sharehouse - whilst also being able to read and respect energy levels and needing my own alone time.
Food sharing and furniture
I really enjoy cooking for people but have a long list of allergies and intolerances, so I don't expect reciprocation. Used to be veggie but gave up in the face of becoming intolerant to so many things (lived in a mouldy house, messed me up!)

Description of pets
Axel is a sweet, gentle, 5 year old, smaller than you'd expect, Staffie×Great Dane, very well behaved though he will snaffle food left out when he's alone in the house - when anyone's in the house he'll ask them about it instead :-)
He's trained to bark once at people coming onto the property, but doesn't keep barking, and can be taught to find your keys and phone - he loves a job!
