I've share-housed for many years and am still friends with many of housemates (I must be doing something right). Key things for any of us to make living together great includes:
- clean up after ourselves (including wiping the bench down and not leaving dishes in the sink).
- happy to chat and interact when together but know when to give the others space if they want quiet or be by themselves.
