Hi! I am Naiara (prefer be called by Nai), 31 years old and from Brazil. I just arrived in Sydney and I’m in my student visa. From 25 September I need to find some place to call home in the 5 months of my visa (it can be longer if everything goes right). I’m a quiet person, but I also like some moments of socialization and sharing things if my flatmate is the outgoing type and a cool person. I obviously respect spaces and limits so I think I’m an easygoing person. I’ll study and work so I probably will not spend a lot of time at home in the weekdays. I love pets, especially dogs and cats, and if you have them I’m pretty sure I’ll love them. I’m graduated in Advertising and Propaganda in Brazil, but I’ve not worked a lot in this area but I want to recicle my knowledge and try to get better in my profession, what means I have plans to get more time in Australia to improve my curriculum and language skills in other country. So if you have a cozy place to me I will be grateful.
Important personal qualities
I can be pretty quiet when I don’t know the person but I’m also polite and respectful. I like to talk about almost everything and have strong opinions but try to respect other’s even when it is different of mine. Usually a like loneliness but I love to make friends when both feel that it can happen. People sometimes say I’m funny but I’m not sure if I can be so funny being insecure for not speak English so well, but I try to be myself.
Food sharing and furniture
I prefer to buying my own things and sometimes share or share the essentials. I usually eat just a little amount of food (reaaally little) and I am ridiculously selective (like a child) so to not cause waste I think is better I deal with my own food. I’m carnivore but I try to eat mostly fishes or seafoods (but I don’t resist to barbies or bacon in every occasion I can).
I did the bariatric surgery 13 years ago and I will eat different for the the rest of my life plus I’m trying to be the more healthy that I can so is a kind of diet.
