Hi, my name is Jessa and I am an exchange student studying Psychology at UNSW. Alongside my studies, I am also engaged in a number of other activities in my free time. These include playing competitive volleyball, running, hiking, surfing (ever since I cam to Sydney), volunteering for mental health related organisations, and working to make some extra money for travel (I hope to travel around South-East Asia after my exchange). I am a very social person so I like to spend a lot of time with friends and flatmates doing anything from running together, sitting in the park and enjoying the sun together, and going out every once in a while (not too much because I need my sleep 🥰).
Important personal qualities
I believe a good flatmate is first and for-most clean. Everyone contributing to the cleaning process is essential. It's important to be able to trust each other and if need be make sure the other one is safe and not out alone at night in the middle of nowhere. Being kind and compromising are some of the most essential qualities and I hope that with this strong foundation we can build a great connection!
Food sharing and furniture
I am open to sharing food or each person having their own as I have done it both ways. I eat meat, however, I have started to limit the quantity as I prefer eating fish, tofu, or halloumi. Usually, I will mostly eat meat only when it is served in a restaurant or when it's cooked in the traditional Polish style (I miss this the most when abroad🥲).
