Hello,

I'm Tom or TJ and I’m currently looking for a new place to call home. I’m 32 years old and I'm a media sales professional in digital advertising. I was actually made redundant recently so I'm currently interviewing for a new role, but not to cause concern about rent being paid as so far I do Uber driving and door dash most days while I'm in market for my next fulltime job (currently in a few final stages of interviews too) so I'm out and busy alot and make more than enough to cover rent. I’ve been living in Surry hills for the past 4 years on my own lease but the landlord needs the property back for personal use so now looking for a change, hoping to find something longer term.

In terms of personality, I would describe myself as very driven and business focused, both introverted and extroverted, Ie I don't have too much of a pattern. Overall I'm easy going, relaxed, honest and direct, a good time and generally hilarious with a dark sense of humour. I have the key traits that make a great housemate I'm, considerate, respectful and pull my weight, I like to like to keep mutual areas clean. I understand the importance of personal space, but I'm also a naturally social person. I'm definitely not awkward, and I just go with my flow sometimes I like to keep to myself other times I'll chat your ear off. Either way I'm good with being friends and having a wine together, being standard friendly or happy to keep to ourselves. Whichever the vibe I'm easy.

I’m also comfortable with any house rules that are already in place or those that need forming. Please let me know any rules or expectations upfront. I'm on time with rent and will pay for the usual things outside of the bills ie cleaning products, toilet paper etc.

I do have a whole house worth of furnishings, but I think I'll either sell most of it or I'll organise external storage depending on the place.

I'm super picky with food, so sharing food never works for me, I like cooking and used to cook a lot but am defo one of uber eats better customers these days due to busy life. So I wont be in your way in the kitchen often.
