About this person
I’m 26 years old and originally from Scotland. I’m currently in Edinburgh, but I’ll be arriving back in Sydney at the end of September/start of October. I work as a primary school teacher, so I’ll be out during the day and won’t be working from home. I’ve spent a year in Australia and had been living in Sydney for a few months doing casual teaching work before I went home for the summer to work my UK summer job. I've already settled into life in Sydney but I’m always up for meeting new people and making new friends, however there's no pressure for this.
I’m easy to live with—chatty and friendly. I've lived in shared flats for many years since university, so I’m accustomed to being neat and considerate of shared spaces. I’m respectful of people’s sleep, work schedules, and different routines. I don’t have a huge amount of belongings, and I enjoy cooking, going for runs and walks, and watching reality TV.
I’m a social person who’s always up for fun and enjoys casual drinks with friends, but I also love the luxuries of Aussie life, like being able to go to the beach and outdoor swimming as much as possible. I’m looking for a place to stay for at least three months, but I’m flexible with the length of stay if it works out well for both of us. I also value my own space and like to maintain a balance between socialising and personal time.
I’d love to be able to move in straight away when I arrive, but since I’m currently overseas, I won’t be able to do an in-person meeting right now. However, I’d be happy to set up a video call to introduce myself and discuss things further.
