About this person
Hey everyone,

We’re two friends in our 30s and 40s looking for long-term accommodation with a spare room to share. We’re hoping to find a place with good public transport and parking—something that feels a bit unrealistic in Sydney, haha!

With backgrounds in engineering and trades, we’re currently studying for accounting and business degrees while working in the hospitality and community sectors. We love living life to the fullest, enjoying outdoor activities, hobbies, and events. Back "home," Nadya spends her time practicing yoga, meditating, and cooking, while Kat enjoys socializing with friends and visiting the night library (yes, it really exists!).

Our schedules are busy, but we’re both easygoing and have experience staying in hostels long-term. We value mutual respect and common sense when it comes to social gatherings, so we’re open to our hosts of neighbors having guests over as long as it’s manageable.

So that’s us in a nutshell! We’d love to share some fascinating stories when we catch up. Thanks!
Important personal qualities
There are lots of factors to consider. Our general experience living in hostels has taught us the importance of common sense—like understanding what others prefer and recognizing that everyone has different schedules. We believe it’s crucial to be flexible and not dwell on every little thing that doesn’t align with our preferences!

Having years of housekeeping experience means we definitely can’t leave dirty dishes in the sink. However, we also know when to dial back—like avoiding excessive vacuuming three times a day! Effective communication is key, and we find that truly listening to one another helps a lot.

We genuinely enjoy chatting with people and appreciate sharing stories—both the awesome ones and the not-so-happy ones. We’re always happy to listen and engage!
Food sharing and furniture
Usually, whatever is "MINE" is labeled, especially special treats! We're always happy to share our cooking, and it’s absolutely fine to eat out too—no one has to starve! However, it’s best to discuss any food preferences or allergies as soon as possible.

Just to clarify, we don’t have any allergies; it’s more about our preferences.
We also have some basic furniture and can easily organize the rest if needed, not a prob!
