Hi,
I’m Alex, 26 and a nurse from the UK. I have been in Sydney for almost 3 months now working as an agency nurse which pretty regular shifts. I try and to stick taking shifts mon-Friday so I have the same work pattern as other people, and the agency work is also great as I can be super flexible with when I’m working to fit around plans. I also pick up the odd nannying/babysitting shifts for extra cash!
In my free time I love going for coffee/drinks with friends, costal walks, slow running (I’m just getting back into it), a glass of wine and a good Netflix series, and finding good restaurant spots!
I would describe myself as clean and sociable. I love a good post work debrief, housemate dinner and chat, however I also appreciate quiet time sometimes and am super respectful of other people’s need for this too. It’s super important to me that I’m friends with the person/people I live with, whilst not being overbearing if that makes sense🫶🏼
I’ve lived in lots of houseshares before in the UK since the age of 18, and so I understand house share etiquette. Ideally looking for 3+ months (planning on staying in Sydney long term) but given the current rental market I am happy to consider a shorter tenancy if needed :)
