About this person
Hi! I’m Georgia, I also go by Georgie. I’m moving from California in January to study vet medicine at the university of Sydney. I’m half American half Australian, having grown up with family in both places. I’m an avid gym goer, I love reading and watching movies/tv, and I’m always down for a drink at a pub with friends.
As for how I am as a roommate, I keep shared space clean and tidy, don’t listen to loud music unless I’ve got headphones in or we’re all jamming together, and love pets even though I won’t be bringing one of my own. I find that communication is key with roommates and am always open for conversation whether it’s about roommate stuff or just for social fun :) I can be very social with my roommates, but will also appreciate my own quiet downtime like anyone else.
Ideally, I’d like a furnished room with either a shared or individual bathroom, and to be located relatively close to the University of Sydney. I would love to live with other professionals or students around my age with similar living habits.
My start date for school is mid February so I'd like to move in sometime in January so I can get settled. If the match is right, I'm willing to start the renting process a little earlier than when I'd be physically moving in.

Important personal qualities
I think communication is top priority when living with others, feeling like we can be honest with each other regarding living situations is very important to me. I appreciate flatmates that keep shared spaces clean and organized, I do my best to clean regularly and am happy to share apartment responsibilities equally.
I enjoy building friendships with flatmates along with sharing our space, and will to my very best to respect any boundaries set in place. I love cooking for others, I find its one of the best ways to socialize and its a great reason to feed myself good food too lol.
I have only ever lived with women and non-binary people (Straight/LGBTQ) and I have no issues living with men, you'd just be the first.

Food sharing and furniture
I am willing to share certain food items such as milk, eggs, etc. basically anything that is difficult for one person to finish before the expiration date. Some foods I may choose to keep to myself, so depending on what we decide to do, i'm happy to label them or just remember who's food is whose.
As for furniture, I'm not bringing any with me so I would love to move into a furnished or partially furnished room. Its not a requirement, but it would making moving countries much easier.
